The Gallery of ACE Champions
Before becoming the Chubb Classic, ACE insurance gave its name to this prestigious senior's PGA Champions tournament. The sponsorship reflected ACE's growing prominence in the insurance market and the association proved to be mutually beneficial. In the 10 years that ACE shared its name with the program, it invited up to 900 brokers and agents to watch the tournament while attending meetings and lots of networking events.
That's the background. Here's the back story. It's no secret that customers are the most important people to any organization. They are the resource, the champions, upon which the success of a business depends. And year in, and year out, ACE paid homage to an esteemed group of its customers via invitations to attend and play with the PGA champions.
But PGA champions aside, ACE understood that its customers were the true champions of ACE. Champion business partners. Champion players on the greens. Champion people. And on the awards night, they would be celebrated as such, every step of the way.
With that in mind, professional photographs of guests were taken on the course throughout the event, right up to the morning of the awards program. The photos were then printed, hung and displayed on all four walls of a 100' x 90' pavilion draped top to bottom in black. It became a stunning homage that enveloped all the ACE champions and award winners.
